Welcome to the page for THERE IS NO MOST BEAUTIFUL SOUND, a concert aimed at providing young composers with a chance to expand their audience, gain performance experience and write ambitious new works in an open environment.
There Is No Most Beautiful Sound is a concert series organised by composers Josten Myburgh and Josiah Padmanabham, in order to inspire friendship and collaboration between composers from the University of Western Australia and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. With plans beginning for the first concert in late 2012, the first performance was held on March 25th, 2013 at the Spectrum Project Space, an art gallery in Mt. Lawley. Now as the first half of the year is beginning to draw to a close, the second concert in the series has been unveiled, applications have opened, and everything is shaping up to be bigger and better than before.
